It is our goal at Hidden Treasure Mine to meet the needs of teachers seeking an educational and enjoyable opportunity for their students. These programs ain’t just pannin’ fer gold! It’s educational fun!
Golden Deluxe Package
Learn about mining methods used during the Gold Rush to search for gold. Demonstrations include the Rocker Box, Long Tom and Panning. Followed with one of our knowledgeable miners helping your with your first pan where any Gold and the variety of Gem Stones found are to be kept and treasured forever!! Pan throughout the entire day as long as time permits. $15 per student.
Eureka Package
Get a group lesson on how to pan for Gold. Followed with one of our knowledgeable miners helping you with your first pan where any Gold and the variety of Gem Stones found are to be kept and treasured forever!! $7 per student.
Adventure Package
Get a group lesson on how to pan for Gold, then start sharpening your skills in panning where any Gold and the variety of Gem Stones found are to be kept and treasured forever!! $4 per student.
The Fine Print …
Because there is always “fine print.” Our goal is to provide quality educational programs to as many students as we can. These programs are discounted as far as available. We barely cover our costs. Due to this we CANNOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS for these or any group discounts. Checks are gladly accepted as is Gold or Silver coin, and, in a pinch, good old Yankee Green Backs. A non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. GROUPS MUST BE ON TIME, or can be reschedule after all other reservations have concluded for the day. We apologize but we cannot be responsible for late starts due to slow buses or rest room use upon bus arrival, our programs are used by Hundreds each year. “School Groups” must have a minimum of 15 students to qualify for the package discount programs. If your group is small we can work with you, please do not hesitate to ask! We hope to see you here.
